BMR’s new rear bar for the FE4-equipped Camaro combines GM’s proven perimeter mount design with today’s most modern sway bar technology. By using hollow bar technology, we are able to improve the rates with a larger bar diameter yet keep weight down for quicker response time and lower overall weight.
BMR uses 3-way adjustable CNC machined inserts in each end to allow easy, 20 minute, on-car rate adjustment by simply changing the end link position.
Below are rate specs compared to OE available bars:
OE SS bar (FE4)
-Hole number 1 provides just over 100% increase in rate over the factory FE4 bar
-Hole number 2 is 150%
-Hole number 3 is 200%
OE ZL1 bar (FE5)
-Hole number 1 provides just over 25% increase in rate over the factory FE4 bar
-Hole number 2 is 40%
-Hole number 3 is 75%
NOTE: May be used on 2010-2011 models if rear control arms and end links are upgraded to 2012 specs.
